- Consciously or subconsciously there has always been a needling feeling that I should “do” my part in the salvation process. I knew I didn’t have enough for the price of admission, but surely I should empty out my pockets to at least give the appearance of having skin in the game. Wrong.
- God only required I do the one thing that only I and I alone had the power to do in my own life – choose to believe.
- There are many voices in my life, some as close as the grey matter between my ears, telling me I’m not “doing” enough to maintain good standing with the Father. I suppose the voices may always attempt to taunt me, but I can win every time I remember Jesus did more than enough, and I choose to believe.
