- As a child, my parents gave me many gifts. Most of these gifts I had no means or hope of acquiring on my own. Simply put, they wanted me to have gifts and they provided them.
- The gifts my parents gave me never had strings attached. There was no payback plan nor obligation to accept the gift.
- As I grew into adulthood and began to experience the joy of gift-giving, I quickly had a deeper understanding of the whole process. The most joy I experience in giving a gift is to know/observe the gift being used and enjoyed.
