The God of All Grace

A Daily Grace Devotional

 1-2 Minute Read

“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast” (1 Peter 5:10).

The God of all grace—what an extraordinary title for God. Peter was writing to believers suffering under tyranny and persecution because of their faith. They were against circumstances that were beyond their control. In some ways, this verse summarizes the message of Peter’s entire letter. He is explaining how we are able to cope with difficult times.

God’s grace is the answer. We have the God of all grace who has called us to share in His eternal glory. His grace saved us and His grace will carry us to our eternal destiny with Him. After all, He is the “God of all grace.” Suffering lasts only a little while; God has taken care of our eternal destiny.
When life presents difficulties and we maintain our trust in God we have a wonderful promise that God will restore us. He will make us strong, firm, and steadfast. No matter what we face the result will be our victory because we have God working for us.

Behind every challenge we face we have the God of grace who won’t give up on us but will see us through. When we cling to Him, or rather have Him clinging to us, nothing can defeat us but our destination is certain. The God of all grace is enough for us to ultimately become the people He had in mind when He first called us. His grace was enough for those believers who suffered in Peter’s day and His grace is enough for us now. As the God of all grace He is committed to us from now through eternity.

What is a Grenade Launcher?

Grenade Launcher is a word picture we use to describe a ministry or person who creates and/or performs a featured grace grenade. Grace Grenades are selected as standalone items and are not a full endorsement of any other items or activities of a particular ministry or person. However, if a grace grenade is tagged with “Official Grenade Launcher” it means we recommend and are comfortable with their public offerings.
