Many think Jesus doesn't show up in the Bible until the New Testament. The truth is, the entire story is about Him. The Old Testament shows the shadow of Christ and Today He is revealed to us fully so we can freely enjoy the treasures of His grace. I used to accept grace like it was a treat, saved for special occasions when I was bad. I'll "give myself grace" for eating that extra brownie. Then I understood that grace wasn't at all leniency. It was loving kindness that someone had to pay for - a precious gift. A gift Jesus invited me to rip into like it's Christmas morning. I don't need to be stingy with grace because it's not my gift to give. Out of the overflow of His love for me I can't help but spill some onto others.
