In the past when someone asked me to pray for a need, I was pretty good to my word and would pray for them. However, subconsciously I would evaluate how the person got into the difficulty. Was this self-inflicted? A result of bad habits or decisions? Were you a “faithful” servant? How worthy were you to receive help in your time of trouble? Now I understand none of us could ever be worthy, but Jesus is. And in His Name I can come boldly to God’s throne of Grace, and so can you.
