I no longer believe in the power of positive thinking. I believe in Jesus, and He makes my thinking positive. There is much to say about a positive person versus a negative person. As a positive person, I certainly feel that I’m more fun to be around than a Negative Nelly. But it’s quite possible for me to put lipstick on a pig. Positivity based on mere personality has very little power to change me, let alone help others. Once I Pulled the Pin, I had a whole new perspective. Grace is the anchor of my positive outlook and expectation. This justified positivity has much potential for me and those around me.
Romans 5:1-2 NASBTherefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] through whom we also have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we celebrate in hope of the glory of God.
