• If my earthly dad is capable of great love for me, how much more is my heavenly father? There’s no wonder why the enemy focuses on attacking the father image in so many families. The devil doesn’t want us to see even a glimpse of God’s love demonstrated in our relationships. I am so blessed to have an amazing father figure to refer to.
• I know not many had the same privilege, so my prayer is that you have a fresh revelation of what a good father is like, regardless of your upbringing. Here are some scriptures to get you started: Matthew 6:26, John 10:28-30, Luke 12:32, and James 1:17.
• Because we are children of God, we can ask Him for things easily. Not with begging and crying but with an expectant and grateful heart we can ask Jesus to intercede for us. He isn’t looking for us to shout louder or to starve longer to help us, He just wants us to keep going to Him for the solution.
