• It took me a long time to understand how God operates. It wasn’t until I got my eyes entirely off myself, that I could come to the incredible life-changing realization that God loves me so completely, in spite of myself, it doesn’t seem possible. But it is.
• I used to think it was my actions that played a role in my acceptance and worth. I was totally wrong. It’s only His action on the Cross, that has qualified me for His unconditional love. It’s like being stranded at the airport in a distant hostile land, broke because of bad decisions when suddenly the ticket agent says your dad called ahead and bought you a first-class ticket home.
• This reality so exceeds anything I’ve ever known, that I never want to go back to the way I once thought. Good thing I never have to.
