  • I used to think the more holy “things” I did the more holy I was becoming. But in reality, I was chasing something that is only attainable by faith.
  • When I gauge my holiness by my behavior, I often feel like a hypocrite because I am never as good as I want to be. This is a futile and depressing pursuit.
  • Once I understand that my holiness comes from a right standing by the free gift of grace and that by focusing and believing in this truth I am becoming all that God has planned for me – my future is brighter than I could ever have imagined.
