Since my Pin has been Pulled I understand how fruitless and dangerous it can be for me to slip back into self-effort. Like a painter reaching away from his ladder, or a weight lifter using his back and not his legs – I am in danger when I forget it is by grace I have been saved. Do it alone versus waiting for God, I run the risk of falling from grace.

Galatians 5:4-5 NIV

4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.
