- The law is not pleasing to God – His son is. God hates a mixture of law and Grace. Mixture is like adding a drop of bleach into a glass of water – sure it may appear the same but consuming it regularly will slowly kill you.
- The consequences of mixture in my life produced unnecessary hardship. I was never satisfied with the results of my own effort (and neither was God).
- Thankfully, pure grace restores what mixture has taken away. I will fight to enter into the rest of Jesus’ finished work when the world tells me I should panic. Why should I worry to fit in?
