• I know I don’t add up, and I may be disappointing those around me because I am surely disappointing myself. None of that matters when I remember it’s not about me.
• Imagine you are with a group of kids on the basketball court waiting to choose teams. You know you suck at basketball, and so does everyone else. As the teams are chosen you are the last remaining person, and team captain A (your gym teacher) didn’t choose you. Captain B has last pick, you, and it’s Michael Jordan.
• Throughout my life, I will no doubt face circumstances (real or imagined) that will render me feeling worthless. But if I will fight to focus on who’s I am and what He’s done, the Son will soon shine again.
